I just got an amazing email. Check it out…
My name is Autumn Buys, I am a local bridal consultant and
contributor to Utah Bride and Groom magazine. I just wanted to say
that I recently became aware of your photography and I absolutely love
it! I especially adore/worship/can’t get enough of the groomals shoot
that appeared on Utah Bride Blog and Vintage Glam. Do you mind if i
ask you if you know where she got her dress? The curiosity has been
killing me. I love the contrast of the red barn. Anyways, please let
me know if you EVER shoot a wedding that you would be a great addition
to the pages of Utah Bride and Groom. I would be so honored to pass
along your work to my editor. Thanks for adding to my love of
weddings!

Oh. My. Goodness.
Was this groomal session fun or what? I was so excited when I found these places to shoot. Cassidy definitely rocked that amazing dress, and Trevor was nothing but handsome. All in all, this was probably my favorite session i’ve ever done!

On Saturday my friends and I threw a bridal shower for our friend Cassidy. I wanted to take charge in planning the shower, and had a blast doing so. I spent weeks trying to gather ideas, and I am so happy with the way it all turned out. For dinner we had yummy BBQ chicken salad, with rolls and lemonade. Topped my mom’s famous cupcakes for dessert. The favors were little buttons made out of white chocolate packaged in a cellophane bag sealed with a vintage label. The decor included fresh picked flowers in vintage pots and glass containers, vintage looking items such as a clock, tea cups, a birdcage, and tables sprinkled with buttons. And also chandelier of old jars with candles lit inside. I have to give a big thanks to all the girls who helped out, and especially my family who put in a lot of effort as well. It was such a perfect night.

Mike of The Digital Orange Photography and I became friends on facebook, and decided we would be good friends when I move down to Huntington. He is an amazing photographer, and when I heard he was going to be in Utah for a bit I asked him if we could meet up. We went to this awesome little shave ice place, and we discovered some awesome back drops that we couldn’t pass up. So we had a little photo shoot. And then we played around with some off camera flashes. Mike is rad, and we obviously had a blast. I am stoked that I might get to second shoot with him at some weddings. I cannot wait to shoot a California wedding! Check out some of these rad photos…

This cute little family was a lot of fun to photograph. Halle was full of so much energy and loved running around, which was fun to capture! Thanks to the sweet Bethany Jackman for referring them to me!

I cannot believe yet another one of my best friends is engaged! But again, I am so excited for them! And my friends really are picking their perfect match. How adorable are these two??
